The end of the year is almost upon us and it brings with it the much-awaited holiday season. While it is great to finally have some family time, the truth cannot be avoided that children tend to get bored sitting at home all day. It is also not constructive to have them sit around doing nothing all through the school holiday.

So, if you are wondering how and where to get your children engaged during this time, here is a list of holiday camps prepared by SchoolAdvisor.

Robo Tach Workshop (2 days)

If you would like your kids to learn a new skill during the holiday season, this camp is the place to go. This two-day camp will teach the basics of robotics as well as how to programme and run RookieBot. There are two slots available and divided among children aged 7 to 12 and 13 years upwards, the camp will be held from Nov 23 to Dec 6. B4K Holiday Camp: Lego Star WarsB4K Holiday Camp

Julia Gabriel Centre Holiday ProgrammesJulia Gabriel Holiday

From 6 months to 12 years, Julia Gabriel Centre’s holiday programmes have something for all children within this age group. From Speech & Drama and Readers and Writers camp to music and movement, children are sure to have a fun time. UCSI Swimming Academy December Holiday Swimming Programme

UCSI Swimming AcademyIf your kids love the water or if you would like your children to learn basic swimming for safety reason, this is a holiday camp that you can consider. There will be two 45 min sessions – morning and afternoon with 2 trainers for every 10 students. Open from 3 to 6 and 10 to 13 December, this camp is meant for both beginners as well as intermediate swimmers. 

Coding Bee 3-days Mobile App Development and Web Development Holiday ProgrammeCodingbee Camp

With the 4th industrial revolution, technology is taking over the world, and learning computer programming is one of the most sought-after skills now. CodingBee is having two holiday camps dedicated to train children in technology and make them future-ready. The mobile app development camp is to be held from 9 to 11 December, from 10 am to 4 pm for children aged 10 to 15, and children will be learning hand-on programming by developing mobile apps.
