Let’s Talk About AIDS

In conjuntion with World AIDS day held on 1 December each year, it is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have passed away.

So how can I talk to my children about this issue?

1. Be prepared

checklistHave a checklist of questions your children might ask. Present only facts and correct any misconceptions they might have.

2. Start early

teaching kidsChildren become aware of their bodies at a very young age. Feed their curiosity while ensuring a body positivementality is fostered.

3. Teachable moments
