2021 IGCSE & A-Levels results dates announced

Cambridge International has announced that the results for Cambridge International AS & A-Levels June 2021 will be released on the 10 August 2021 at 1 p.m. Malaysian time (6 a.m. BST).

For June 2021 Cambridge IGCSE results, it will be released on 12 August 2021 at 1 p.m. Malaysian time (6 a.m. BST) along with Cambridge O-Level and Cambridge ICE results.

The dates announced are aligned with the results date in the UK.

Exams in 2021 faced a widespread disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the data from UNESCO, schools in Malaysia have been shut for 49 weeks and affected 7,962,033 students from early years to tertiary education. 

Earlier this year, Cambridge International announced that schools that were not able to proceed due to government restrictions will be assessed through school assessed-grades which entailed students' portfolio work. This is fortunately not applicable to students in Malaysia.

IGCSE examination is a 2-year course for students ages 14 to 16-years-old, whereas students ages 17 and 18-years-old sit for AS and A-Level examinations, respectively.

Malaysian students who sat for IGCSE and A-Levels on June 2021 will receive their results through the Candidate Results website or reach out to their schools or examination centres.

IGCSE Grading System

According to a guide provided by Cambridge International, IGCSE students are awarded these grades: A*, A, B, C, D, E, F, or G, with A* being the highest grade they could receive.

AS and A-Levels Grading System

As for AS and A-Levels grades, students will be graded as follows:
