We are delighted to be able to celebrate record-breaking IGCSE success this afternoon in person with our students. The results reflect the hard work and determination shown throughout this difficult time from our Year 11. Students confidently entered their examination rooms knowing they were well prepared and determined to do their best. Our year 11 students have spent a vast amount of their secondary education and examination preparation online. These are significant achievements and ones for which we are incredibly proud. Mr Anthony Partington, Principal, said: “Our IGCSE students began their studies for these examinations remotely and under the restrictions caused by the pandemic. The fact that they have applied themselves with tenacity and dedication during these difficult times and worked just as hard online, as when they returned to the real-world classroom, demonstrates not only their academic ability, but also the strength of character that they have developed whilst learning with us. That these results are record-breaking for the school is due to the combined efforts of students and their families and all the teachers and staff. Thank you to all involved and I wish our students the very best for their continued studies with us and elsewhere.”

Mrs Fleming, Head of Secondary, said: “The results are a credit to the hard work and commitment of our students and staff. Our students have shown the strength of character to persevere in difficult circumstances and highlight their resilience and determination to achieve. Congratulations to everyone on their excellent achievements. We look forward to continuing study through A Level with some students and wish those who are moving on the very best of luck in their new adventures.”
