New International Schools To Send Your Child

This is a list of new international schools in the Klang Valley that parents can send their children to. 

1. The International School of Kuala Lumpur 

Set on over 25 acres, ISKL’s purpose-built campus in Ampang Hilir is conveniently located 3km from Kuala Lumpur’s city centre. ISKL offers a robust international curriculum which combines leading North American educational frameworks with global best practice. 

2. King Henry VIII College

King Henry VIII College, established in September 2018 is a British boarding school and the first overseas school for Christ College in Brecon, Wales. King Henry VIII College offers the British Curriculum leading up to the IGCSE examinations at primary and secondary levels. The A Level examination is offered at the pre-university level. King Henry VIII College is located in Cyberjaya.

3. Oasis International School Kuala Lumpur

Oasis International School Kuala Lumpur opened their doors on 29 August 2018. They are located in Bandar Rimbayu. Oasis International School Kuala Lumpur offers the American Curriculum for students in primary and secondary levels (K4 to Grade 12).

4. Peninsula International School Australia

Peninsula International School Australia was operating since January 2018. This school offers the Victorian Curriculum leading up to the Victorian Certificate of Education. Students from Prep to Grade 12 (Ages 6 to 17) are welcomed at Peninsula International School Australia. They are located in Setia Alam.

5. Straits International School (Rawang Campus)

Straits International School international school was established in Rawang in September 2018.  The British Curriculum is offered to students at preschool, primary and secondary levels. Students in Year 11 will sit for the IGCSE examinations. 

6. Hua Xia International School

Hua Xia Private School introduced an international syllabus in 2018. They offer the Cambridge curriculum leading up to the IGCSE examinations. They are located in Seri Kembangan and has opened up branches in Georgetown, Penang.

7. Acmar International School

Established in 2018, Acmar International School is set to offer the Cambridge curriculum leading up to the IGCSE examinations. This school is an expansion of Sekolah Sri Acmar, a private school located in Klang. Acmar International School will accept students from preschool, primary and secondary levels.

8.Tenby International School, Tropicana Aman

Tenby Schools has multiple branches in Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor, and Sarawak. They offer the British Curriculum at preschool, primary and secondary school levels.  

9. Wesley Methodist School Bandar Sri Coalfields

Wesley Methodist Schools began their expansion in Bandar Sri Coalfields in early 2019 and currently accepting students enrolment. The school offered the Malaysian curriculum with Cambridge values at primary level and Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah (KSSM) in secondary.
