Theatre, anyone?

Thinking of doing something different with your children? Something other than catching a movie? Take your children to a theater production instead! Here's some kid-friendly shows for the whole family to enjoy.

1. Monstersaurus 

Monty is an ambitious young scientist, but his inventions don't always work - his walking toaster runs away and his robot goes beserk... Then he comes across an invention instruction manual, and starts mixing slime with socks, jelly with cheese, beans and bellybutton fluff. With a whoosh, poof and kapow, he creates different things, until he finally produces Monstersaurus. Monstersaurus is big and hairy, but is he scary? His methods for frightening away other monsters are somewhat unconventional! 2. The Wizard of Oz

Like so many girls her age, little Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and carries her away over the rainbow to another world. Come join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they travel the universe of Dorothy’s imagination. 3. Aladdin

Make a date with Aladdin and The Genie of The Lamp in a family-friendly show with lots of audience participation, laughs, popular songs and exciting new twists. Get the full pantomime experience by dressing up as your favourite Aladdin character and stand to win a prize, try to catch the sweets being thrown into the audience, cheer for the good guys and boo for the baddies, and expect a most memorable evening at the theatre!
