In an industry that has a lot of variances when it comes to curriculum, it’s challenging for parents to keep up with what’s new and what is the best curriculum for their child. It is often that parents who are looking into private and international schools for their children would usually consider the usual curriculum such as the Cambridge IGCSE, the British national curriculum, an American curriculum or even the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. What if we told you that there is another option for your little one? Introducing the Victorian Certificate of Education

In Malaysia, the Victorian Curriculum is overseen by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA). The Victorian Curriculum is ONLY available at The Peninsula International School Australia in Malaysia.

What is VCE?

Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is a certificate in Victoria, Australia, accredited to students who succeed in completing high school education that provides a variety of pathways to higher education or employment.

VCE & IGCSE & IB

Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is a striving Victoria-based curriculum that leads a chance for tertiary admissions in all Australian universities and international universities worldwide. Meanwhile, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an English-based curriculum and one of the prominent international qualifications accepted by all UK universities as the replacement for GCSE. International Baccalaureate (IB), meanwhile is a curriculum composed of 4 specific programmes each tailored toward 4 stages of studies. These programmes: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Year Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) & Career-related Programme (CP) are promoted through an authorised IB World School.
